Legrand, world leading manufacturers of electrical equipment, cable management systems and wiring accessories, opened its South African subsidiary in 1985 and has developed a comprehensive distribution network across southern Africa.

Our mission is to become a leader in electrical intelligence with innovative solutions and services, from the most common functions – protection, distribution, control of electricity – through to integrated systems and the management of electrical installations and information networks in homes, offices and industries.

Legrand markets a high quality product range and a comprehensive solution for the distribution of power and data. Our offer goes from switches and sockets to home automation solutions. In cable management, we carry a complete system of trunking, columns and technical flooring which is in total synergy with our data network structural cabling offer(cat 5e, Cat 6, F.O. Wifi).

A full range of MCB and MCCB's, up to 4000A, together with cabling accessories and XL3 enclosures, allow Legrand to be specialized in electrical equipment.

The Company benefits from the Group's ongoing research and has an edge on product design, selection, cost efficiency, safety and reliability of equipment. Legrand is determined to extend its operations further and continue to provide products that are manufactured to IEC requirements in ISO9000:2000 factories and endorsed locally by the SABS in order to meet the specific requirement of the southern African market.
